Born in Pickneyville, Illinois, and raised on a farm in Vergennes, Barbara’s roots in the heartland have instilled in her a deep appreciation for the value of hard work, integrity, and the importance of community.
Barbara received her Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and now serves on the External Advisory Board for their College of Business. Barbara is involved in various charitable organizations, including the Women’s Center, Boston University’s and Washington University’s philanthropic organizations, and her church.
She is the proud mother of twin daughters, Alaina, and Elizabeth, now living in St. Louis and Boston, and enjoys traveling and spending time with them. Her commitment to personal health and the arts reflects her holistic approach to life, recognizing the balance between physical well-being, creativity, and professional success.
